Thanksgiving...

Thanksgiving is here again. I have so much to be thankful for this year.

Travis... He is the most supporting loving husband anyone could ask for. He is the true love of my life. He is my best friend.

Carsen... I have been blessed with the most wonderful baby boy. Carsen has been such a joy in my life. I never knew how much love a heart could feel. I'm thankful to being able to stay at home and spend every moment with him. I don't want to miss anything.

My Dad...A year ago October the doctors told us he wouldn't make it 6 months. I loved seeing his face walk in the labor/delivery room the day his first grandson was born 9 months later. And everyday I have with him is a special day. He's a fighter.

My mom... The Rock of the family. She is there for my Dad everyday. Even though they are not married anymore, she is by his side through this fight against cancer. I can only hope I have an ounce of her strength. She is an amazing woman. Thanks Mom!

My Bothers and Sisters... We are close family. We love, we fight, we laugh, we sing, we dance. We are all in this together. They are my strength.

Tyler and Preston... I'm thankful to have them in my life. Even though they are my stepsons, I can't help to feel they are also my friends.

Ulli and Larry... My "in-laws" We've been through a lot this year together. I'm thankful we have become closer and have a greater appreciation for each other. Love you guys!

My friends... I have been blessed with some great friends. I know they will be there for me through anything. I'm very lucky!

Here's a slide show I put together of the people I'm thankful for!

I can stand!

Ok... I'm so excited and sad at the same time.  Yesterday we (Carsen and I) were at Lara's house just hanging out. I was playing with Carsen on the floor. He was sitting in front of me and I was laying down on my side.   Carsen turned and reached for me.  He rolled over out of the sitting position and landed on his tummy. He reached out and pulled on my shirt and got his knees under him. I was like WOW! But he wasn't finished.  Then he proceeded to pull up on me and stood.  It was amazing. I looked at Lara and started to tear up. I just saw his infancy fade away. He's growing up so fast. Anyway, I just thought I would share my story with you.  I didn't get any pictures of the event. He had such a great time playing with Mason. He was making him laugh so hard. It was cute. It's so neat to see him interact with other kids.
I love this picture....I took it the other day when we were playing.

Sidney is Home!

My new niece is finally here! Isn't she a doll?! I love her very much!

She's so tiny... I totally forgot how small they are. That time is such a blur for me.

How does Travis look with a girl? Hmmm.... Do you think he could handle pink?

Peyton is the cutest thing with her. She is always wanting help. She's going to make a great big sister.

She's very proud of her little sister. She kept telling Myssy to move Sidney's head toward her so she could see her face. But she looked to comfortable to move her.

JumperOO

This is Carsen's 5 month old present. It's the Baby Einstein Jumperoo.  There's so much to do on it. It can get overstimulating at times. He looks to be enjoying it.

We had a cold front come in tonight and Carsen got to wear his new coat. He's so darn cute! He looks so peaceful. :-)

Sidney Lane Thompson is here!!!

Sidney Lane surprised us with an early arrival. She was born November 12th weighing 7 lbs 5 ozs and 19.5 inches long. Not bad stats for being 3 weeks early. My photos are limited because Sidney is still in the NICU. The pictures I have are not very clear. I could not use my flash. Once she is out I will post some better ones. Myssy is doing great except for the fact that she isn't able to hold Sidney. As of tonight the doctors think she will be discharged from NICU tomorrow and go home on Sunday. That is what we are all hoping for. Please keep them in your prayers.

To be continued.....

Myssy and Chip's Baby Shower

Of course with the help of my mother, I pulled off a "Martha Stewart" couples baby shower. I'm just so impressed with myself. LOL! I live to impress my sister. She is the ultimate "Southern Living" "Martha Stewart" Chickie. There's a lot of  pressure there. :-) It was an Italian cuisine sit down dinner for 2o. Between my sister and myself I was able to come up with all the place settings. Myssy looked absolutely radiant. Sidney Lane will be arriving November 18th. We're all very excited.

Enjoy my table settings...

Some fun Video Clips...

Making a new sounds with my mouth.

Carsen sitting up for the first time. Don't make fun of the way I'm talking. I think I forgot how to talk like a normal person. :-)

I want to walk!!!!

I'm 5 Months Old!

Another month has gone by and our list of accomplishments are stacking up. Carsen is sitting up, found his feet, eating baby food, talking like crazy ( no real words yet), laughing more, rolling over both directions, sleeping all night, and my favorite.... giving hugs and slobber kisses. He's a boy of many facial expressions. They keep us laughing and running for the camera constantly. Carsen is really close to crawling.  I give it a couple of more weeks.  My life is about to change. :-)

I'm getting closer to driving my mom crazy.

I found my feet!

Carsen's tough guy look.

I'm sitting up now.

Late Halloween Post! Sorry!

We had a GREAT Halloween. We started the evening trick or treating with Peyton. And then went to Troy and Michelle's for the costume party.   Carsen was a Dinosaur and Travis and I went as pirates.  Good Times.

Troy, Brooks and Travis... all in rare form! :-)
