As most of you know, October is Breast Cancer awareness month. Travis's mom (Ulli) and his grandmother (Edi) have had this battle to beat. Today Travis ran the Race for the Cure 5k in honor of both of them. Travis's mom just finished 6 months of chemotherapy and radiation. She has been such a courageous woman. They call them "survivors" but I think of them as more than that. This race will be a new tradition in our family every year. We love and miss you Ulli and Edi!

Good for you guys!! A big Congrats to Ulli too!! They also did a special run that day for a lady named Leah who's husband is good friends with Justin. Here is the link and her story. It's a tear jerker....

Great site. I was not aware that you had the site going. Great job Amanda. It is nice to see pictures of the family and especially my new nephew Carsen. Congrats Travis on your run. Well worth the effort but you had better take it easy, you are getting to be an old man. :-)
